Privacy Policy
This page summarizes Sharp.IQ’s consumer privacy posture. Nothing here is legal advice. We align with applicable U.S. state-level privacy laws (e.g. CCPA / CPRA). Material updates will be posted here.
1. Scope
This policy describes how Sharp.IQ handles information for customers using the web app at this domain.
2. What We Collect
- Account information: your account email, and the display name you choose if you provide one.
- Sign-in and session data: tokens issued by our secure sign-in provider so you stay logged in between visits.
- Billing and subscription records: subscription state, plan, and cycle returned by Stripe. Payment details are handled by Stripe; Sharp.IQ does not store full card numbers.
- Support feedback: messages and severity you submit via the in-app “Send feedback” button. See Support.
- Server logs: standard request logs (IP, path, user agent) retained briefly for operational purposes.
- Age / eligibility confirmation cookie: a small cookie that records you have confirmed you are 17+ and eligible to use Sharp.IQ.
3. What We Do Not Collect
- Full card numbers — payment details are handled by Stripe; Sharp.IQ does not store full card numbers.
- Government IDs or KYC documents.
- Real-time location beyond what server logs implicitly capture.
4. How We Use Information
Account data is used to render your account page and to personalize the product experience. Billing records keep your subscription state in sync with Stripe. Support feedback is used to improve product quality, data clarity, and the account experience. Cookies maintain your session and remember your age confirmation. Server logs are used to operate, secure, and improve the service.
5. Cookies
- Sign-in and session cookies issued by our secure sign-in provider keep you logged in.
- An age / eligibility confirmation cookie records that you have confirmed the 17+ requirement.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Analytics tooling will be disclosed here when added.
6. Sharing
We share data only with the service providers required to operate Sharp.IQ — currently Stripe for payments and our secure sign-in provider for account access. We do not sell personal information. Additional integrations will be disclosed here.
7. Retention
Account records persist while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to honor legal and accounting obligations. Server logs are retained briefly for operational use.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your residence, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us via the Support page.
9. Security
We follow common-sense controls (HTTPS in production, httpOnly cookies, least-privilege server access). No system is perfectly secure.
10. Children’s Privacy
Sharp.IQ is intended for users 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. See Eligibility & Access. If you believe a minor has provided information to us, contact us via the Support page and we will take reasonable steps to remove it.
11. Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material updates will be posted here and, where appropriate, surfaced in-app.
12. Contact
